Trivia[]

  • In the book and film, every child was sent home with lifetime supplies of Wonka's Candy. If any of the children were to run out of candy, they would have to show their ticket to the factory, and more trucks would come with more candy.
  • In the book, the first time the second golden ticket was found it was proven to be a fake, this was before Veruca Salt found the real second golden ticket. In the 1971 and 2005 films, the fake ticket was moved from second to fifth to build up the atmosphere in the film adaptations. Before Charlie finds the last golden ticket, it was believed that the last golden ticket was found by Alberto Minoleta (Nazi Official Martin Bormann as seen in the photo) in Paraguay (1971) and a kid in Russia (2005) but is was revealed that their tickets were fake.
